Leatherwood (Chardonnay) is pale golden white in color with a light green hue around the rim. Aromatically, The Leatherwood (Chardonnay) shows notes of nettle, candied ginger, linden, cape gooseberry and melon on the nose. On the palate it is a rich and unctuous wine, balanced by well-integrated and lively acidity. The moderate use of oak allows for a subtle spice and elegant structure that adds to the overall complexity of this Chardonnay. The wine lingers on the palate considerably.
